Over the years a number of movies have torn down the glory of war, revealing a host of negative emotions such as madness, hate, and fear. As an ex-physics student and reductionist I tend to see physical and mathematical concepts in everyday places. This is especially true in Sun Tzu's The Art Of War, though its true inspiration is Taoism. As the Tao would say, we must take a balanced approach and view the book from the eyes of both West and East.
